Position : Lateral, arms extended, Lateral decubitus with the infected side up, upper arm on a support and an axillary roll under the down chest.
Time : 2-4 hours (long)
Blood Loss : Very High (500+ ml)
Post-op Pain : High (7-10)
Maintenance Paralytic : Yes
Considerations : Arterial line, Central line, High Blood Loss, One-Lung Ventilation / Lung Isolation
